All other things aside, one really great thing happened last week. We found the lady of our dreams.

Meet Milly a.k.a. Mystery Meat. She’s 4 month old bottle baby who was rescued pre-natal from her mama by some very good people.

Last week she came to live with us with the intent that Vash really needed some cat company. She lasted two days being in her own room 24hrs a day, and then the two of them decided that she needed to be part of the family full time. That was an amazing moment, it’s the first time that Vash has approved of another cat so quickly. They’ve been doing well together ever since. It helps that she’s very sweet and not neurotic unlike some of the other cats we’ve tried out in the past. She has though, brought on a lack of knitting recently…

Instead I’ve been painting my office to ward off some of the stress. Pictures to come when it’s done.

Here’s hoping that this week will have the resolutions that I’ve been waiting for, and will in turn be a much better week.
