Sometimes you’ve just got to be a bit silly. It’s been an interesting couple of weeks, full of stress and laughter. I love my friends for always being able to help me out a funk.

And I think I should pick up some glow sticks for a little bit of a disco tomorrow night.

I’m usually not one for overly feminine things, but I just couldn’t get this pattern out of my head. I’m glad I gave this pattern another go. All I had to do was let go of the disappointment of the last one. You can read the quantitative details on the Ravelry page for ‘let go of your yesterday‘. The yarn is amazingly soft; especially after I used my washer’s rinse cycle to get out the excess water, the stitches puffed up, and the cashmere really started to show itself. I love what blocking does to shawls, you finally get to see what the designer intended.

Now I need to sew up a pale aqua dress to go with it, and maybe find a bright coral colored belt. Oo! Or a medium heather grey dress with an apple green belt. Hmm. Choices.
